The organization is strong and effective with an All-Volunteer leadership that is committed and working toward establishing a global network of Cities of Peace. VOLUNTEER POSITION: ICP APP DEVELOPER
Software Development Professionals to create an application that can be accessed by multiple operating systems and devices, such as smart phones and tablets. The Need: Automate the process of adding new Cities of Peace with an introduction; login/password; automated newsletter sign-up; forms for applying to establish a community; upload of information and photos; approval pending status; approval and announcement capability; database and map. The Developer would analyze the data/requirement to determine an application’s specifications and requirements; design the application; document every aspect of the process for future reference; code the application; test the product for functionality and errors; ensure performance and security; fix glitches and complete beta test before roll-out.
• Expertise in areas such as HTML, Java, MS/SQL, and PHP.
• Two-years experience with portfolio of successful app development.

VOLUNTEER POSITION: ICP GRANT WRITER
A part time volunteer position that reports directly to the Executive Director with responsibilities including research, writing and coordinating grant applications; management of proposals and maintaining a donor database; coordinate and follow-up on submitted proposals; conduct prospect research to identify, cultivate and solicit new grants.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in research and grant writing; nonprofit experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher a plus; ability to write successful grant proposals
• Motivated self starter; proficiency in Excel, Word

VOLUNTEER POSITION: ICP COMMUNITY OUTREACH COORDINATOR
The Community Outreach Coordinator is a volunteer manager responsible for all aspects regarding volunteers and communicating to City of Peace leaders around the world. From recruiting new volunteers and promoting volunteer opportunities to conveying the organization’s purpose, the Community Outreach Coordinator arranges all the details of volunteering and keeps all parties informed; recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers; collects volunteer information, availability, and skill base; maintains an up-to-date database; uses marketing tools such as outreach programs, e-mails, and volunteer databases to keep new and existing volunteers informed; matches volunteers to opportunities that suit volunteers’ skill sets; ensures volunteers understand responsibilities and receive proper training; keeps schedules and records of volunteers’ work; prepares codes of conduct and operating procedures to uphold the organization’s values.
• Associate’s Degree or higher; skills with software and social networking
• Experience in volunteering and recruitment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.

VOLUNTEER POSITION: ICP DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
The Development Director ssecure funding and sponsorships by establishing fundraising plans, maintains donor relationships and secures new ones; analyzes reports and details the effectiveness of campaigns; plans ways to increase brand awareness and funding; develops and organizes all aspects of the company’s fundraising programs; researches and identifies potential donors and sponsors and implement strategies to foster positive relationships; researches donation programs and opportunities available through local, state and federal programs.
• Two years of nonprofit fundraising experience;
• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing and tracking donor contributions and organizing gathered data
• Demonstrated experience raising funds and examples of positive outcomes

VOLUNTEER POSITION: ACCOUNTANT
The Accountant provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; prepares reports on assets, liabilities, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information; documents financial transactions by entering account information; recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options; summarizes current financial status by collecting information; prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports.; substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents; maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions; prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends; maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• CPA; accounting; corporate finance; reporting skills
• SFAS rules
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance
• Minimum five years’ experience in accounting/finance; financial reporting requirements

VOLUNTEER POSITION: ICP NEWSLETTER MANAGER
The Newsletter Manager works with a communications team to source material for, write, edit and produce the quarterly newsletter; reports to the Executive Director and works with the website manager and social media managers to ensure the newsletter is uploaded on the ICP website and distributed across all ICP social media channels; reviews and overhauls existing distribution system by increasing subscribers, operational efficiency and overall design and content of the newsletter.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in journalism preferred
• Past experience managing content-intense newsletters
• Understand digital metrics; HTML and CSS literacy
