Encouraging Local Talent to Create Peace
“To form youth talent groups to fight idleness especially among the youth. To promote peace through talent search.” Mr. Ssentongo Angello Kisyake is a 23-year-old Ugandan whose dream is to spread peace by creating a talent search in his community. The village of Busungu is in Namayumba, a settlement of 15,000 people in the Wakiso District in the Buganda Region of Uganda on Lake Victoria. In Uganda, nearly 40 percent of the population lives on less than $1.25 a day. Oil rich, yet poverty is keeping the population down. We are with the people of Africa as they rise.
