MONTHLY INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUES. For new ICP Liaison Bihibindi Johnsbosco of Kabingo Town in the Nakivale Refugee Camp, organizing for peace is essential. His Mission is extensive and NEEDED!: “To inspire through love of community and love of peace by promoting safe water and shelter, health education, youth and women empowerment, dialogue between nationalities and faith, and self-reliance through farming and skills. To organize peace clubs in Rubondo primary schools and community centres, to hold monthly inter-cultrural dialogue and peace events, to run clean water, hygiene and health education campaigns to prevent disease, to support women and youth with livelihood skills and farming, to promote sports and cultural festivals for unity and to network with other cities of peace in Africa and the world to share hope and inspire peace.” The Unity Cities of Peace in this refugee camp of nearly 200,000 souls is proving that refugees are not only like us, but they have a greater yearning for PEACE.
