EL QRAYEH, LEBANON. Welcome to Mayor Maroun Antoun and the citizens of El Qrayeh who have established their community as the first International City of Peace in Lebanon. In a Letter of Intent and Purpose, the Mayor declared, “We are very sensitive for the desire to associate our village with another International one. We believe that in these pairings will born not only, a certain spirit of “citizen of the world”, but also meetings, cooperation, stances in regards of common issues, like for example, water management or global warming.”
