A Day in the Life of World Peace.
It was seventeen years ago, on April 8th, 2009, that the genesis of what has become a substantial and impactful peace movement began. That is the day Cities of Peace, Inc. became official. This year, one of our valued Liaisons suggested, “Shouldn’t we have an International Cities of Peace DAY?” This year, 2026, we will celebrate our First Annual International Cities of Peace DAY! This is something all of our Liaisons around the globe can use to generate enthusiasm and impact. Use the logo to help you build the peace!
Linking ICP Day (April 8th) with UN Day (Sept. 21st) will enhance both Days. It will encourage ALL Liaisons to begin planning for International Day of Peace. Gather your team on April 8th; gather the community during the week of Sept. 21st — The celebration of this DAY will enhance our ability to make a substantial difference with on-the-ground peacebuilding through our mutual Action Plan focus.
