467th International City of Peace
Pro Bono Legal Services

GENEROSITY. Justice and progress. Alwar City is 150 km south of Delhi, India, with 3.67 million people, a multicultural population 90% Hindus; 4.3% Muslim with smaller minorities of Jains and Sikhs. New ICP Liaison Gitesh Khanna and other advocates, mediators and arbitrators with the Indian Lawyers Association have, by applying to establish the 467th City of Peace, put forward a vision to become a model city for communal harmony and intercultural dialogue for resolving communal, business, and civil disputes peacefully. We commend Advocate Khanna and his associates for their innovative, inclusive approach to heal the stresses of a growing metropolis with a minority population that needs their services to thrive. They set an example.
