“PERFECT LOVE CASTETH OUT ALL FEAR.”

(Page 20, “Peace Pilgrim: In her own words”)

Egg Harbor, New Jersey became the 28th International City of Peace way back in 2012. The folks in the Peace Pilgrim’s home town planted a garden to her memory and work. Last Sunday, on Peace Day, they dedicated a new statue in that garden to this woman who spent 28 years walking, walking, walking… for Peace. It’s a legacy of peacebuilding and courage that needed to be honored and told to children. Thanks to Nanette LoBiondo Galloway, Doug Dickerson and the others holding the light in Egg Harbor, New Jersey: City of Peace since 2012. They’ve had many Global Feasts for Peace over the years and we thank them for providing this “soul” food for all. (photo: Friends of the Peace Pilgrim)
