CLEVELAND. And so, it begins.
The Epiphany does not come on the day a community becomes a City of Peace. It arrives in stages: Should we? Could we? But how? Relationships begin to develop. Schools. Spiritual groups. BusinessES. Sports. City Commissioners. New guard. Old guard. Cleveland had an Epiphany. They celebrated. Communed. A small group, now large were inspired. “This milestone,” the initiator Christine Jones writes, “is due to the initiative of the Heartfulness Meditation Center of Cleveland and its nightly online Intention for Peace, a gathering that is quietly weaving threads of compassion and unity into the fabric of our city. It is a moment to affirm that peace is possible as Cleveland has joined hundreds of cities around the world committed to this effort.” Wonderful progress. https://www.internationalcitiesofpeace.org/…/cleveland…/
