Building he Infrastructure of Peace
PEACE INFRASTRUCTURE MEANS ACTIVE PEACE: “Consolidate the Regional Innovation & Tech Ecosystem, Decentralize Public Services & Close the Urban Equity Gap.” That is why Mr. Gustavo Javier Alcantara is re-establishing Posadas, Argentina, now our 490th International City of Peace. Posadas is a subtropical city on the Paraná River, facing Encarnación, Paraguay. Posadas is considered the cultural gateway to one of Argentina’s most ecologically diverse regions. The new Liaison between Paosadas and International Cities of Peace, Gustavo is dedicated to transforming community health and urban wellbeing through active humanitarian service. His Vision for Posadas: “To serve as the premier diplomatic, academic, and economic bridge uniting Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil through frictionless riverfront and terrestrial commerce.” Every community must have such high hopes for an infrastructure of peace.
