Pristina is a bustling city located in the heart of Kosovo. It is the capital city of the country and a place of great cultural and historical significance. It is known for its vibrant energy and lively atmosphere, with a variety of attractions for visitors to explore. Our Community are predominantly young, ethnically Albanian, and known for their warm, hospitable, and energetic nature. With over 40% of the population under 25, the capital has a vibrant, university-campus atmosphere despite facing a 30% unemployment rate. The city is culturally diverse, where people from different religions and ethnicity live in harmony and mutual respect. even if The society we live in today is strongly shaped by difficult living conditions and is heavily burdened by everyday problems. Employment opportunities are limited, the economy is weak due to the lack of factories, and there is a shortage of stable jobs.
The Culture of Peace resolution reduces conflicts between communities, and through active engagement, communities contribute to ensuring that new generations have better conditions for a good and peaceful life. This international peace group, through its actions, motivated me to join and to contribute through my own work to the further dissemination of the Culture of Peace in my community and surrounding regions. Through this engagement and the application of United Nations resolutions on the Culture of Peace, foundations are created for cooperation and strong bonds. Mutual cooperation and respect help eliminate war conflicts.
.My goal is to be part of the "Good Mind – Good Life© international program (program that is part of the well-known *Cuore di Donna- International Travelling Project©) creating a network within the network which is conceived and led by ICP Ambassador Gladys Mabel Cantelmi. An international group of International Cities of Peace’s Leaders will work together, each one of them fulfilling their essential role in their own professional field (literary, editorial, publishing, artistic, environmental, scientific, etc.). We will carry out the mentor’s coordinated actions to achieve optimal results for the dissemination of the Culture of Peace in each community, for charity for children in need in our network, and for connecting the different communities for a unifying exchange and mutual support. Because war, people reject conflict, and peace is the most important value. Cooperation with local communities is essential and represents a key precondition for long-term and sustainable solutions.

Yes, I approve the guidelines for an International City of Peace and will provide four or more additional approved signatures of community Peace Team members (see next registration field). "A culture of peace is a set of values, attitudes, traditions and modes of behavior and ways of life based on respect for life, ending of violence and promotion and practice of non-violence through education, dialogue and cooperation. Tenets include: Full respect for and promotion of all human rights and fundamental freedoms; Commitment to peaceful settlement of conflicts; Efforts to meet the developmental and environmental needs of present and future generations; Respect for and promotion of the right to development; Respect for and promotion of equal rights and opportunities for women and men; Respect for and promotion of the right of everyone to freedom of expression, opinion and information; Adherence to the principles of freedom, justice, democracy, tolerance, solidarity, cooperation, pluralism, cultural diversity, dialogue and understanding at all levels of society and among nations; and fostered by an enabling national and international environment conducive to peace." In addition, the Golden Rule - "Do for others as you would have them do for you" -- provides a unity proposition for personal, local and global peace.
