CITIES, COUNTRIES WITH HEART. “My commitment is to help people discover inner balance, compassion, and wellbeing,” writes new Liaison Bhupinder Singh Aulakh, “while building respectful, harmonious connections across our diverse community.” Each evening at 9:00 PM ET, people join the Community of Hearts meditation, “offering an intention of Peace and Universal Love.” As Daaji of the Heartfulness Institute writes, “When we choose to serve with an open heart, we align ourselves with a higher purpose, and that’s a meaningful aspect of human existence.” There are now 17 official INTERNATIONAL CITIES OF PEACE in Canada, soon to be 18. Canada ranks 14th out of 163 countries in the 2026 Global Peace Index (GPI), placing it in the world’s top 10% for peacefulness. Onward.
